Bu erik şeftali ve nektarin ailesine aittir ve tatlı ve maltlı bir tada sahiptir. Osteoporoz gibi çeşitli hastalıkların tedavisi için çok uygundur ve çoğunlukla kurutulmuş formda kullanılır.
